Abstract: Currently, digitalization of the engineering survey industry causes rejection among many engineering surveyors. There are several reasons for this. The main reason of them, from the point of view of the authors of the presented article, is lack of information on the actions and means that are necessary to convert engineering survey results into digital form. State Budgetary Institution “Mosgoroetrest” is a practicing organization in the engineering survey industry, and it also actively work towards the digital development of the industry. This paper deals with the main aspects of the digitalization of engineering- geological surveys, assesses the advantages and difficulties associated with the introduction of digital technologies, and provides some practical examples of the successful application of these technologies.

Abstract: The article considers the energy approach to assessing the processes of compressive compaction-decompaction of sands. A technique for energy assessment of compression-decompression and recompression processes in sandy soils has been developed on the basis of the assessment of values of the work performed during these processes. The analysis of the obtained experimental data makes it possible to identify compaction-decompaction regularities for sandy soils, as well as to provide a comparative description of the deformation properties of the studied soils with the use of integral parameters reflecting the entire nonlinear deformation process over the entire range of working stresses.

Abstract: Recently, “Rosdorbank” PJSC organized a discussion dedicated to the problems of small and medium-sized businesses in the motor road construction industry. Representatives of the financial sector, industry associations, the Federal Road Agency, and construction companies took part in the discussion. The main purpose of the meeting was to identify the most pressing problems faced by businesses in the field of motor road construction.

Abstract: In the last five years, the topic of professional and emotional burnout has become very popular. Covid restrictions and Western sanctions have worsened the lives of companies and have caused people to quarrels at all levels. And a long forced stay in uncertainty is exhausting for everyone. In this paper, we will briefly present what was discussed at one of the meetings of business representatives with Natalia Tsvetkova, a professor at Moscow Pedagogical State University, the author of eleven books, two textbooks and online workshops on the topic of job burnout. She talked about how to find clarity in an uncertain future. We will also look at some related stories shared by the heads of design and survey organizations.

Abstract: Several years ago, burnout was discussed in relation to helping professions and to the service sector. Now, HR specialists find it among designers and talk about it at design industry conferences. The editorial staff of the “Geolnfo” journal have interested in whether this problem really exists, what engineers themselves think about it, and how they help themselves. In this paper, we will briefly review their stories and recommend what to do if you have to deal with burnout.

Abstract: “DOM.RF” JSC (a financial institution for development in the housing sector of Russia) holds strategic sessions for developers in Russian regions in connection with the mandatory transition to technologies of information modeling (TIM). The meetings are organized jointly with the Ministry of Construction of Russia, ministries of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, IT companies and developers with successful experience in using domestic software. On October 31, 2024, the conference “Southern BIM: digital solutions in development” was held in Rostov-on-Don. “KS-Development” LLC, the regional branch of “ASCON-_Yug” LLC, the regional branch of the “Business Russia” public organization, the Ministry of Construction of the Rostov Region were among the participants of the conference. This paper uses information from the speeches at this meeting, as well as some additional materials provided to the “Geolnfo” journal by the marketing department of the “ASCON” IT-company (St. Petersburg) and the press service of “DOM.RF” JSC (Moscow). You will know how our developers are similar to Italian strikers, why some designers work in the “Renga” domestic TIM system for integrated design, while others still “sit” in the “Revit” or “AutoCAD” software packages from the “Autodesk” company that left Russia, and how many people are needed to service TIM.
