The GeoInfo electronic journal and the portal geoinfo.ru operate as a single publication platform, which includes two components: a preprint section for scientific, review, and analytical papers, and the scientific journal (published quarterly in PDF format).
All manuscripts submitted to the editorial office, regardless of their type (scientific, applied, analytical, economic, industry reviews, reports on events, etc.), are published in the “Preprints” section of the portal geoinfo.ru.
Preprints of scientific papers are published in open access.
Prior to publication, they do not undergo mandatory peer review or scientific editing.
Authors are solely responsible for the content.
Following publication in the “Preprints” section, original scientific articles undergo double-blind peer review. If the reviews are favorable, the papers are included in the issue of the GeoInfo scientific electronic journal.
Since 2025, the journal has been published quarterly in PDF format.
Peer-reviewed scientific articles published in the journal are assigned a DOI.
Before submitting a manuscript, authors must review:
The editorial office considers both scientific and applied papers, provided they correspond to the journal’s scope.
Manuscripts should be sent by e-mail to: info@geoinfo.ru.
