A technique for energy assessment of compression-decompression and recompression processes in sandy soils has been developed on the basis of the assessment of values of the work performed during these processes. The analysis of the obtained experimental data makes it possible to identify compaction-decompaction regularities for sandy soils, as well as to provide a comparative description of the deformation properties of the studied soils with the use of integral parameters reflecting the entire nonlinear deformation process over the entire range of working stresses.
